Dynamics certification reports are created from engine testing with strain gauges and/or NSMS.- Perform finite element analyses of engine components using computer codes such as Ansys or Nastran: understanding natural frequencies, cut up pieces, describe mass and stiffness characteristics, and crack propagation- Develop experimental test requests (strain gauge/NSMS) to quantify vibratory stresses for certification reports. - Part of investigation teams that determine the root causes of engine field issues for both commercial and military programs.- Support engine tests in fast-paced, high stress environment
