The Operational Manager is ultimately responsible for the operational management of the Business Unit Certification. The department consists of approximately 50 permanent FTEs and 60 subcontractors. As Operational Manager, I am responsible for ensuring that the entire audit process runs effectively and efficiently, where all process steps are based on the quality system and (inter)national schemes. I am also responsible for the quality of the work delivered. Audit work is carried out under accreditation. In my position I am also responsible for the planning and finance department.

The department consists of approximately 20 inspectors who carry out (follow-up) inspections of operating fire protection systems and the related organizational and construction measures. As team leader, I am responsible for ensuring that the entire process of these inspections runs effectively and efficiently, where all process steps are based on the quality system and (national) inspection schedules. I am also responsible for the quality of the work delivered. Inspection work is carried out under accreditation by the Accreditation Council (RvA).
