Coordinating the new Brighton Youth Employment Hub, a partnership project from Brighton & Hove City Council and The DWP in response to the pandemic to support young people under 25 to access education, employment and training support.Day to day operational management of the Hub, including coordinating staffing and resources. Providing information, advice and guidance to young people accessing the Hub on an ad hoc basis and sign posting effectively to provide holistic support. Developing, promoting and leading an inclusive program of employability activities and events, exploring pathways such as education, apprenticeships, traineeships, self employment, kickstart and first step confidence building as well as job and opportunity fairs, liaising with providers and employers appropriately. Developed, included writing entire content of the virtual hub, keeping information up to date and useful and responding directly to queries. Developing a service user group and other opportunities for young people's feedback to ensure a young person centered approach to Hub delivery.
