• Following the laboratory’s procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing, as well as test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of test results.
• Documenting all quality controls activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and maintenance;
• Identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correcting the problem or notifying the supervisor.
• Distributing and maintaining laboratory stock in laboratory and treatment area as needed.
• Understanding all checklists and being able to perform all duties on the checklists associated with the position.
• Following the laboratory’s safety policies as defined by Patient First, OSHA, HIPPA, and CLIA.

• Perform elementary blood banking and clinical laboratory procedures in hematology, immunohematology, clinical chemistry, serology, bacteriology, parasitology and urinalysis
• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary puncture
• Pack, unpack, inspect, store and distribute blood and blood products.
• Assemble, disassemble and maintain laboratory equipment
• Personally responsible for over $500,000 of command equipment with no deficiencies, losses or damages during multiple overseas deployments.
• Was an administrative assistant ensuring the daily logistical operations of a superior officer were met with 100% accuracy to include: scheduling, transporting and other professional needs.
