Thanks to my previous experience and development, I have been bestowed a promotion for my current role. This role enables me to provide cross-departmental support in different areas. In addition to my previous responsibilities, I have been granted the opportunity to collaborate on the development of some internal strategies to support the organizational goals and objectives, as well as to be involved in some community engagements.

This is how I started my dream job. Team Power Solutions is a company that provides electrical and automation solutions with a special focus on mining, utility, oil and gas, paper and wood, and other industries. As a Business Development Representative, I needed to pursue business opportunities in different industries through a combination of different prospective methods and strategies that allowed me to bring in successful and qualified leads in the first months of the position.I had the opportunity to provide support to the marketing team by attending various networking events, establishing connections with professionals in the industries above, and gaining first-hand insight into the current market trends and demands. This enabled me to profile sales objectives effectively in order to support organizational goals.

This opportunity came to me as a current international student at Saskpolytech. I have the opportunity to guide the applicants in their application process and provide support to students to make their dreams and goals come true by coming and studying at Saskpolytech.I am very proud, and it is very rewarding when they see me on campus, recognize me, and thank me for the support provided. Those small but meaningful gestures mean that I positively impacted people's or students' lives.

I promoted and sold extra-refined and deodorized fish oil and derived products for animal and human consumption. Due to my customer service focus, it was important for me to understand and get involved in other areas of the operation process, allowing me to support the quality department in the research and guide the registration process of products according to destination laws, as well as the exportation department with the management of the booking of shipments and documentation.

I handled and sought business opportunities in the markets of Asia, Africa, Oceania, and Iberoamerica. Having ongoing and follow-up conversations with the clients and prospects was important for this role in order to understand their needs and expectations in a pretty competitive market. Controlling documentation and labelling for customs purposes was essential to avoid any delay and ensure compliance with destination laws.I assisted in the creation of the company manual and the training of the new sales team members located in different parts of the world, as well as the assistance of the director.
