Dr. Wan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She has over 12 years experience in inpatient medicine, coordinating care of adult patients in the hospital setting. She is well-versed with hospital protocols, medical ethics and has special interest in clinical coding and documentation as well as inpatient management of pain. Dr. Wan treats common conditions such as congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, diabetes ketoacidosis, alcohol abuse and withdrawal, infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, epidural abscess and serves as a point of contact for surgeons, patients and family members. She is the medical director for medication assisted treatment/opioid dependence.Dr. Wan has done medico-legal work by evaluating standard of care of patients admitted to the hospital, timely consultation of specialists, accurate medical diagnosis and medication management/medical errors.
