After a year of freelancing under SS@Work, I realized it was time to take things to the next level. That’s when I founded The Techy Hub, with the goal of building a dedicated team and creating a company that could evolve with the tech landscape. From the beginning, my focus was on establishing a strong foundation, which started with a rigorous internship program. I wanted to attract developers from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, expanding our expertise from front-end development to custom WordPress solutions, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, and DevOps. This groundwork enabled us to handle increasingly complex projects and establish a robust, multi-skilled team.Over time, our focus sharpened on software development, and we began collaborating closely with other agencies as their trusted tech partner. This partnership approach not only helped us grow but also diversified our projects, allowing us to work with notable clients such as Spotify, Carlsberg, Allianz, and Khazanah. Together, we developed sophisticated applications and pushed boundaries to create tailored solutions that met the unique demands of each client.Now, as we continue to grow, I see The Techy Hub reaching a new phase. We're on the verge of a pivot—one that will open up new avenues for us to innovate and expand. The COVID-19 pandemic forced many industries to adapt, and it was during this challenging time that I co-founded HeyProp—a property selling platform designed to streamline online transactions for buying and selling properties. Recognizing the shift in consumer behavior, we pivoted our focus to building innovative solutions, with HeyProp emerging as a key initiative.As the CTO, I took charge of the platform's technical development, leading our team in building it from the ground up in just six months. My primary responsibility was to create a detailed user journey that would enhance the customer experience, while also collaborating with developers to architect a robust web application.This venture marked a significant turning point in my professional life, propelling me into the entrepreneurial community and facilitating my participation in an accelerator program. Through this experience, I gained crucial insights into product-market fit, company valuation, and the complexities of securing funding.As the journey with HeyProp came to an end, I learned that product-market fit is the most crucial aspect of entrepreneurship. While my passion lies in technology, I recognized that it is merely a tool to accelerate the business model. This understanding continues to guide my approach to building impactful ventures in an ever-evolving landscape.

After my tenure at Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid, I took a leap of faith to pursue my long-standing ambition of starting my own business by transitioning into freelancing. During this period, I engaged in website development and design projects, gaining firsthand insight into the digital market landscape. This experience proved to be one of the most challenging yet rewarding phases of my career.I learned to navigate the complexities of running my own business, which included finding clients, managing projects independently, and overseeing all aspects of development. This role not only honed my technical skills but also equipped me with valuable lessons in entrepreneurship and client management, laying a strong foundation for my future endeavors in the digital space.

In my role as a Senior Interactive Designer and Front End Developer at Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid, I contributed to the agency’s success by leveraging my skills in HTML, CSS, and ActionScript 3.0 to create engaging and responsive web experiences. I worked on larger projects and collaborated directly with clients such as MINI, BMW, Celcom, and Sime Darby, ensuring that their digital solutions aligned with their brand goals. During this time, I expanded my expertise in HTML5 responsive layout development and worked with Mediamind Eyeblasters and EDM (Electronic Direct Mail) campaigns. My contributions helped the agency secure 11 client-judged Advertising + Marketing Agency of the Year awards from 2009 to 2012 across five agency categories. Notably, we received awards for Best Website Development under CLEAR and Best Digital Activation under MINI.

As an Interactive Designer and Front End Developer at Arachnid Sdn Bhd, I was responsible for various front-end development projects, including website development, graphic design, and Flash development. I collaborated with notable clients such as CLEAR, Honda, Toyota, Dutch Lady, and OCBC, ensuring the delivery of visually appealing and user-friendly digital solutions that met their brand standards. My role involved working closely with creative teams to produce high-quality outcomes for our clients.

As a Technical Support Executive at Expo Digital, one of Malaysia's pioneering digital print companies, I played a key role in delivering exceptional technical support and ensuring the seamless operation of our services. My responsibilities included:• Providing comprehensive technical support, including hardware repairs and network troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.• Managing and maintaining an on-premise server, enhancing system reliability and data integrity.• Collaborating on large-scale and digital print projects for diverse clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery.• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for both computer and Macintosh systems, contributing to efficient workflows.This role laid the foundation for my career in technology and customer service, equipping me with valuable skills in technical problem-solving and client relations.
