I joined PwC in 1992 whilst studying Accountancy in Griffith College Dublin.As team member of the firm's Information and Research Centre (IRC) I was responsible for the day-to-day management and a remit to acquire, manage, organise and disseminate information and assist in research. In 2003 I also took on the role of Knowledge Manager for the Irish firm, working with teams across our range of services locally and internationally. Whilst working I studied at night, achieving Diploma's in Information Studies at Trinity College Dublin and subsequently Legal Studies at Dublin Institute of Technology. In 2011 I took an opportunity with the Global ITS Network which expanded in July 2012 to a wider fulltime role with Global ITS and M&A Tax Networks. I was promoted to Senior Manager in July 2013.As my role with PwC Global Tax Networks expanded I developed an interest in communications, marketing and social media. To broaden skills in this area I returned to night studies in Dublin Business School and in June 2015 I achieved a professional Diploma in Digital Marketing and Strategy. From January 2016 I was primarily focused on content management, initiatives and operations Global Tax Networks & Markets, moving to Global Tax Transformation team in 2019.In January 2022 the opportunity arose to join the support team for EMEA Tax Leadership as EMEA Tax Transformation Driver, and work with Think Digital team in Ireland.I have been involved in the Library Association of Ireland (LAI) since 2002. I joined the Committee of the Academic & Special Libraries Section of the LAI in 2007 and was Hon Treasurer 2009 - 2011 and a Committee member until June 2013. In 2013 I set up Librarian Links to share events and resources for Librarians in Ireland.
