La Confrérie (founded in 1957) is the well-known student association linked to Hotelschool The Hague. Having an alumni network of more than 5.000 members and a current number of members of around 400, La Confrérie is the most recognizable association in its industry.Being part of the Board of La Confrérie has been a true educational experience. During this year I have learned so many new and interesting things. I was part of the Board of La Confrérie, together with 5 other dedicated fellow students. During this year we managed the Association. Next to the daily activities, I managed to set up a whole new website, made new deals with with (main) sponsors and got to new sponsor contracts with several (main) sponsors. We also had to make major decisions to assure a bright future for La Confrérie. Besides all this, I had the unique opportunity to develop management skills within this learning environment what made this year to a true completion to my studies at Hotelschool The Hague. Therefore, being a member of the Board of La Confrérie was a real added value to my studies.
