Manager, Alum And Lifetime Member Engagement And Events
New York City Metropolitan Area
I served as the Alum and Lifetime Member Engagement Manager for Girl Scouts of the USA. My team lead the Girl Scout Network initiative which seeks to grow the lifetime membership program and reengage the over 50 million women who were in the Girl Scout program as youths. Girl Scout Network alums and supporters are leads for conversion to members, donors, volunteers, and caregivers of current girl members. The federated organization is composed of 111 local councils, USA Girl Scouts Overseas, and the national headquarters. As a part of this effort, I lead the production for our popular Campfire Chat series. Throughout the pandemic, we held 22 live virtual events that have driven over 20,000 registrants, more than 9,000 views of the recordings on our YouTube channel and have earned an average satisfaction rating of 94%. For this series I worked cross-functionally to produce the full event cycle from brainstorming to reporting—including collaborating internally with marketing, communications, fund development, legal, finance, the Offices of the Board and CEO, and externally with vendors, speakers, brand partners, and consultants. Through our engagement efforts, including our virtual events, we were able to grow the lifetime membership program at Girl Scouts with 125% year over year growth.
