Teaching first year science students in organic chemistry I by demonstrating, supervising and overseeing students performing techniques in laboratory. Such as Thin-layer chromatography, simple and fractional distillations, liquid-liquid extractions, grignard and nitration reactions.

Completed an undergraduate thesis project in the field of Medicinal Chemistry. This project focused on producing hydrosols and essential oils from black cardamom using various distillation techniques. The products were then characterized products via GC-MS and tested for any antimicrobial properties using minimum inhibitory concentration assays. This Project was supervised by Dr. Paul Mayer and Dr. Sharon Barden.
