Following decades of international (emergency) management experience in a wide variety of settings, since 2010 busy coming up with answers to the question "Going from Risk to Resilience... - HOW do we get there?". Developed the Nine Universal Roadblock to Resilience (NUR) Model and Focused Feedback Methodology to strengthen resilience in all phases of emergency and crisismanagement. Founder and chair of the DIEM network and initiator of '20/20 Vision', a global, forward-looking program on value-based resilience and lessons (to be) learned.
