Nonprofit leader with over fifteen years experience working with governments, civil society, and the private sector at the intersection of security, human rights, and justice. As Executive Director of the Global Center on Cooperative Security, I lead a diverse and dynamic global team to advance human rights–centered responses to political violence, violent extremism, and injustice worldwide. We believe cooperation among community groups, governments, and international organizations is critical to achieving a just and secure world. I frequently brief the UN Security Council and build the capacity of governments institutions on inclusive, human rights–based policies and practices that are globally informed and locally grounded. Since 2004, the Global Center has managed more than $60 million to deliver over 300 programs, engaging more than 60 countries and working with thousands of government, private sector, and civil society partners. During my tenure, the organization has significantly expanded its programming and deepened its impact where it matters most. I am committed to making the world a more just and secure place for all.
