My late grandfather, serial entrepreneur Nico Dongelmans founded credit management firms Dongelmans Business Services in The Hague and Dongelmans International NV in Antwerpen which were later sold to Vendex and Nederlandse Credietverzekering Maatschappij NCM (current Atradius). Then, together with another company (Van der Graaf) a joint venture was formed called Graydon (current GraydonCreditsafe). The name Graydon orginated from 'GRA' from Van der Graaf and 'DON' from Dongelmans, of which the letter y was inspired by the Spanish word for ‘’and’’. In addition, in the late eighties my father amongst others founded international debt collection, trade credit insurance and factoring firm Eurocollect in Gouda which he successfully sold in 1999 to Nederlandse Credietverzekering Maatschappij NCM (current Atradius) and employed then 100 people. B2B & B2C experience (EMEA, APAC, Americas) in general management, sales, marketing and procurement at Aon (Insurance Intermediary/Broker), Rabobank (Finance&Insurance), Odido (Telecom), DPG Media (Newspaper), Croonwolter&dros (Power&Utilities) and currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer for Coface (Insurance/Business Information/Factoring/Debt Collection).Co-author of the bestselling “The InsurTech Book” and guest-speaker at InsurTech events.
