Developed a novel high-throughput transfer deposition method based on principles of soft lithography using silicon microdevices.- Atomic Force Microscopy: fluid and in air imaging of soft materials such as single DNA, protein, and lipid molecules using contact and tapping mode. Experience using JPK NanoWizard BioScience, Asylum MFP-3D-Bio, and Digital Instruments Nanoscope IIIa AFMs. Image analysis using MATLAB and Igor Pro. - Microfabrication including: Photolithography, Soft Lithography, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Deep Reactive Ion Etch (DRIE), and Metal Assisted Chemical Etching (MACE)- Surface Characterization including: Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Thin Film Reflectometry, Stylus Profilometry, Optical Microscopy, and IR Spectroscopy (FTIR)- Biochemical Techniques including: Bacterial cell culture, DNA extraction and purification, gel electrophoresis, and PCR. - Analytical Chemistry including: UV-Vis Spectroscopy, HPLC, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), and IR spectroscopy
