Seconded from LogicaCMG to a large company trading natural gas, I managed application development projects.

Seconded from LogicaCMG to a home-care company I worked as a project manager / change enabler. The change process was to make the planning of the 500+ nursing staff more professional. This was done by changing the organisation of the teams, hiring planning staff, implementing an ICT system for planning and mobile registration (using PDA's and GPRS connectivity) and creating and implementing new working procedures. I managed the project and helped line management changing their teams. When I left the project, 100 staff were working in the new setting and implementing the remainder was a matter of routine that the organisation could manage by itself.

Team manager of a design team. Responsible for managing the engineers in the team, so that the requested deliverables are delivered according to the agreed quality, cost and planning.

I was responsible for the success of several large telecommunication product development projects and telecommunications integration projects. Examples are Multi Media Messaging integration and hosting projects, development project of a Central Directory Server based on LDAP, a telecommunications messaging solution performance and benchmarking project.

LogicaCMG provided a large new 3G telecommunications operator with a solution consisting of various LCMG products. For this a new entity in LCMG was created, the Solution Integration Competence Centre. I was the team leader of the integration team, responsible for managing the team, maintaining internal and external relationships, delivery of solution releases and support and sustaining of those solution releases.

I was responsible for a support desk providing support on LogicaCMG's products (SMSC's and WAP service broker). This included managing the engineers in the support team, and managing special projects, internal interfaces, Service Level Agreements both internal and external, escalation management. Also initiating new projects and quality improvements was one of my tasks.

Working as an expat in Singapore, I was part of a small team (5 persons) that started the first Asia Pacific office for the CMG Wireless Data Solutions division. Activities included hiring and managing an operations team, project management for implementation projects, implementing and supporting large state of the art telecommunications systems at large telco operators in the region (M1 Singapore, Vodafone Australia, Globe Phillipines, Digi Malaysia, Optus Australia and others).
