CurrentThe Code of Support Foundation (www.codeofsupport.org) provides essential and critical one-on-one assistance to struggling service members, veterans and their families with the most complex needs. Our two major programs, "Case Coordination" and "PATRIOTlink (TM)," are transforming how America cares for its heroes, demonstrating the power of collaboration. With over 40,000 non-profits including "troops" in their mission statement, most of which are very narrowly focused, it is exceptionally difficult for service members, veterans and families to navigate the terrain and get the help they need. Our Case Coordinators, themselves veterans or care givers, provide that navigation assistance and bring together the resources from multiple organizations (an average of four for a case) to fulfill the totality of needs in each individual support case. PATRIOTlink is our strategic solution to the resource navigation problem faced by individuals and organizations alike. It is a cloud-based platform that contains profiles of thousands of organizations, carefully vetted and tagged by eligibility criteria and the specifics of the services provided. It has been designed by service providers to be used by service providers. Set for launch on June 14th, 2018, it is currently being piloted in over 40 organizations, including the National Guard, the Red Cross, Catholic Charities USA and many others. The "Code of Support" gives meaning to the words, "Support Our Troops." A counterpart to the military "Code of Conduct," it is intended to bridge the gap between civilian and military America. The 1% who serve in uniform make it possible for the 99% to live their lives in freedom. Through our "Education and Engagement Program," the foundation seeks to move the 99% from caring, to committed, to involved in activities which support our troops and their families, and keep the nation strong. Everyone must share in the responsibility to defend freedom!
