Junior Expert/ Young Parliamentary Associate (Ypa) At Senate Of Pakistan
• Support the Senate of Pakistan, Parliamentary Development Unit (PDU) to conduct background research, literature reviews and analysis for topics as required for the programs, concept papers, proposals and statements for donors• Managed effective communication channels with diverse donors, including but not limited to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), United Nations (UN), World Food Programme (WFP), Muslim Hands, Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF), the German Bundesrat, and Congressional Budget Office of the United States.• Formulated proposals outlining collaborative initiatives between the Senate of Pakistan and donors across diverse activities, fostering mutual areas of engagement.• Led planning and coordination efforts for the inaugural establishment of the first ever Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) in the Senate of Pakistan. Conducted extensive research and prepared proposals/concept notes for prospective donors.• Pioneered the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Senate of Pakistan by spearheading the conceptualization and drafting of comprehensive proposals. Successfully contributed to the seamless integration of AI across various processes, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency and workflow optimization.• Assisted in the establishment of the first-ever Education Parliamentarians' Caucus (EPC) in the Senate of Pakistan, delivering administrative support across various functions to guarantee the seamless operation of the caucus.• Support the administrative needs of the Parliamentary Development Unit at the Senate of Pakistan. which include but not limited to; minute taking, logistics and coordination support, briefings and press releases; as and when required.• Responsible for arranging high profile events and trainings on behalf of the Senate of Pakistan, in close coordination with all stakeholders.
