•Collaborate with Executive Leadership to maintain safe and secure jobsites for field/office personnel and general contractors by establishing accident-free work zones. •Oversee and manage safety management staff, providing technical expertise and guidance, and conducting employee performance evaluations and recommendations •Engage with Project Directors and Estimators during preconstruction phases to determine constructability methods that will promote increased hazard recognition and eliminate/reduce potential hazards for project scopes of work that will minimize risks.•Author health and safety related documentation (reports, HASPs, JHA, PTP, inspections logs, records, and site-specific risk mitigation plans), while compiling required information for executive reports and client communications in a timely and accurate manner.•Conduct random safety audits to capture any potential safety lapses within the safety program in an effort to eliminate/reduce risks.•Increase awareness of potential hazards that can exist in new building construction with owners and clients by reviewing the various "at risk" physical/working conditions and what initiatives can be taken to eliminate possible incident.•Train staff on topics such as OSHA training (10 & 30 hour), First Aid, construction safety-specific requirements, and new federal and local standards (NYCDOB, FDNY, etc.)•OSHA Approved Trainer (Certification OSHA 500 & 510) DOB Site safety manager Certification. Ariel work platform (AWP) Approved Trainer Sunbelt. 600+ union personnel trained.Major Sites: Javits Center, Hudson Yards, Manhattan West, Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium, Belmont Arena.
