I have been teaching for 13 years, ranging from Years 3 to 6. Most of my experience comes from working at an outstanding school in East London. I have helped to develop school wide initiatives that include Morning Meetings, behaviour strategies, Growth Mindset and teaching strategies through professional development sessions and observations. Throughout the years I have had countless teachers from schools in the borough come to observe my teaching. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I am also involved in our 'Teaching School' where I lead courses on professional development with trainee teachers and teachers from the local area. I have developed a poster based on Bloom's taxonomy to help teachers and students be more aware of their teaching and learning and to focus on higher level thinking throughout each lesson.
