I’m a technical product manager that focus on designing, creating and managing tech products. My journey started as a creative student in the university where I was exposed to graphics design in a small business outside the school campus. The lady who ran the business gave me an opportunity to sit with her and learn the tricks and tips in Corel Draw. In a couple of months I started designing for students programs and events. Shortly after, I got an opportunity to learn HTML and CSS from an older friend who was already making money from it.My experience started from a job I got in a Appzone group in Lagos, Nigeria. That actually gave me the exposure I need to go deep dive into Product design and Product development. A few years later, I started 2 companies, one was a design studio and the other was a Programming training school focus on helping build young talents in programming and design. I have taken on several roles and done several jobs from freelance to contract and then full time in Product Design and Product Management.Recently, my work has helped me to understand technical product management and product development. I have worked as the go-to guy between developers and business leaders in a few organisation. I have experience designing product plans and road maps, as well as Sprint planning and execution. It is very important for me to understand requirements, carry out research and provide the needed feedback to Product Owners so as well as give clarity to the product development team. Communication plays a key role in moving things from strategy to execution. The Agile Estimation/Sizing and resource allocation is the key to effective product delivery. This is the guiding principle I use to work on any product.
