Terake Workfields (Tehnoloogia Rakenduskeskus OÜ) provides a SaaS mobile and web solution for time tracking and management. I joined Terake with the ambition to help this startup company to reach the next level, drawing on my previous experience in software development and systems maintenance. As a member of this small company, I am involved in various tasks, including programming, making decisions on software architecture, actively participating on product design discussions and decision making, planning sprints, and refining stories, communicating with outsourced developers. I also participate in developing backend solution, which provides APIs for the web and mobile frontends.

I worked for Swedbank Life Insurance SE and Swedbank P&C Insurance SE, both of which are subsidiaries of the Swedbank Group operating in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.As the IT Security Manager, I was responsible for ensuring that the operations and IT systems of these companies complied with the requirements set by legislation and the rules and processes established by the Swedbank Group. This included enforcement of GDPR, KYC, Anti-Money-Laundering, Anti-Terrorism rules. My responsibilities included also conducting yearly IT security assessments of our in-house developed systems as well as third-party systems, and continuous management of risks. In addition I continued to provide my expertise and support to the Life Insurance IT team in their service management.

The most crucial aspect of my role was to ensure the operational continuity of the IT systems of Swedbank Life Insurance SE and the IT systems of Swedbank's pension second pillar, based on their criticality and agreed-upon SLAs. I served as the functional lead for the three application administrators. I was responsible for overseeing their activities and ensuring the practical implementation of service requests fulfilling. In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I personally handled escalated incidents and service requests, organized problem solving, and initiated and coordinated activities necessary for risk mitigation and system stability improvement. I worked closely with the IT development team, providing assistance where needed. As a ITIL practitioner, I actively participated in the Change Management process, ensuring the quality of releases, coordinating release scope, and organizing deployments into production.Among my notable achievements, I successfully coordinated the transition of Life Insurance IT service and pension second pillar IT service to the Euro in Estonia in 2011, Latvia in 2014, and Lithuania in 2015.

In this position I managed IT software development projects in the Swedbank Life Insurance area. Projects were aimed at first to start business operations in Latvia and several major projects for transitioning from traditional product sales to bancassurance products in Estonia and Lithuania. Many of these projects also changed the Life Insurance section of Swedbank's internet banking solution. Swedbank IT used at first traditional ("Waterfall") project management method, but during this time we changed over to agile project management (Scrum).Typical project team consisted of developers, analysts, and testers from the Life Insurance functional area development team. Additionally, engineers and developers from other departments were involved based on the specific requirements of the project.With my prior experience as the head of a Project Management department, I was assigned to the role of Senior Project Manager. In this role I was expected to provide mentorship to others, so I was acting as a mentor to four colleagues from other business domains within Swedbank's IT development division.One of my most notable achievements was leading the IT software development and implementation project for launching Swedbank Life Insurance operations in Latvia. This project was later recognized as the "project of the year" at Swedbank Latvia.

Elion Enterprises was precedessor of Telia Eesti AS.As the Head of the Project Management Department in the Telecommunication division, I simultaneously served as a Project Manager and a team leader for five other Project Managers. In my role, I actively participated in the development of company processes.Most notable projects were separating wide area network of Elion Enterprises from it's subsidiary company network, and project for implementing centrally managed hard drive encryption to company's laptops. Interesting project in sense of strict deadline project was network solution for "The fifth summit meeting of the Baltic Sea countries prime ministers in Laulasmaa".

I had an interest in software development and saw the internet and IT as promising fields. Therefore, I made the decision to leave the financial world in order to gain experience in IT.I was developer and project manager for several IT projects (mainly using Linux, Apache, Mysql, Php). Projects included development of custom database-driven web solutions, development of CMS and CRM systems.

My main duties were analysis of financial data, analysis of stock exchange information and publishing stock exchange information. I was responsible for calculation of Tallinn Stock Exchange index "Talse".I was successfully leading software project for creating automated web-based stock exchange news transmitting system.
