In my last three years studying Media and Communications l have studied Brand Management and Social Media Marketing. This experience has given me insight into creating brand content for social media platforms using Google analytics to inform consumer research, and how to plan and apply marketing strategies. In my second year of university, I had the opportunity to create a social media campaign for Mary’s Meals, a non-profit organisation, as part of an assessment. For this I created social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to convey the organisation’s goal of recruiting volunteers. I used Canva to create these posts which taught me how to use digital creative tools to produce engaging and effective online content.I have also completed the Albert Partnership’s Applied Skills Media Industry Module. This has taught me the importance of making conscious sustainable choices within the media industry to reduce the effect of our carbon footprint. My experience of working as a Sales Assistant at Monsoon for 2 years equipped me with the skill of providing warm customer service to ensure customers had the most helpful and welcoming experience.
