NanoTech Innovation manufactures a line of novel highly engineered nano-materials that are applied directly on rusty surfaces, with no or minimal surface preparation, to chemically transform the existing rust to a protective anti-corrosion layer, and a paintable surface.

• Led a multidisciplinary team of engineers/scientists through the entire project life cycle, from conceptualization to commercialization.• Oversaw testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of the products including pilot trials, risk analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirementsProject Manager:• Managed the development and commercialization of first generation point-of-entry UV-LED water treatment system (ArrowMAX Home)• Coordinated external partnerships, including communication & collaboration with CMs, external engineering firms and vendors

• Designed and manufactured sensor devices with innovative material structures and configurations• Performed material synthesis, characterization, as well as device fabrication, testing and data analysis

• Developed a fully automated gas handling and testing system• Supervised technicians to perform detailed system level analysis and performance characterization• Contributed in sensor design optimization and fabrication process

• Researched multiple novel technology solutions based on highly engineered semiconducting nano-structures using advanced micro/nano fabrication techniques including: - Nanoparticles, nanowires, composites, micro/meso porous materials such as CMMs - Semiconductors, 2D materials, QDs - Additives and dopants: Pt, Pd, Rd, Ni, Cd, Si, Ir, Ag• Authored and co-authored 11 peer-reviewed journal publications, and +10 conference presentations• Mentored, advised and trained +10 students• Troubleshot, calibrated and maintained lab equipment• TA'ed and instructed several undergraduate courses

• Researched and reviewed key issues surrounding carbon capture and storage (CCS) process through close collaborations with expert representatives such as Shell, Statoil, Schlumberger, and the IEA.
