** SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON (SCE): One of the nation’s largest electric utilities bringing clean and renewable sources of energy to over 15 million people. As lead instructional designer worked directly with leadership, SMEs, and classroom instructors to develop a brand new Substation Operator Curriculum which consisted of 31 modules developed for both online and classroom instruction.** FIRST ENERGY (Akron, Ohio): One of the United States' largest investor-owned utilities involved in the distribution, transmission, and generation of electricity, as well as energy management and other energy-related services for over 6 million customers.Software and Leader-led Training development: Created varying content for a high importance/company-wide training initiative. This involved the integration of three software programs (Cascade, PowerBase & RTS) which are essential to the management of devices within the electrical grid and in meeting government critical infrastructure protection (CIP) requirements. ** DOMINION ENERGY (Boston Heights, Ohio): A multi-regional power and energy company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia that supplies electricity and natural gas to Nearly 7.5 million customers throughout the United States.Job Role & Task Analysis Consultation and Leadership: Consulted with various levels of business leadership to totally redevelop the Field Metering Services (FMS) training from scratch. This included full-scale needs and task analysis of every job role.Curriculum Development: Led FMS subject matter experts to develop content for a robust curriculum implementation from scratch for their Field Metering Services. Also developed a full range of real-world training exercises utilizing laboratories and an outdoor environment known as “Gas Town".

Deeply involved in iterative User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure a wide array of the main website features were functioning properly and followed a logical and accessible path that users could follow in their investigative and potential purchasing journey.Developed a wide array of training videos and articles for the IT, Digital Marketing, & Customer Experience teams.Content contributor for the main website via the CMS (Sitecore).

Anthem: A top provider of health insurance in the United States. It is the largest for-profit managed health care company in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.My contributions included:Program Management: Training and development ownership of the Disease Management Division (DMCCU) which included GBD Facets (claims processing software). Computer Based Training: Developed instructional materials using software such as FS Pro, Articulate Studio, Camtasia, Captivate, Audacity, Snagit, and MS Suite.Project Management: Maintained oversight and/or development of multiple simultaneous projects while always meeting deadlines.Blended Learning and Course Development: Designed and developed facilitator and learner guides, job aids, procedures, micro-learnings, flipped classroom material, instructor led training, storyboards, and e-Learning courses.Testing and Evaluation: Created Level I and Level II assessments and utilized various other methods for evaluating training effectiveness.Onboarding Mentor: Mentored new hires on processes and procedures used in the learning and development organization. Washington Mutual (WaMu): Was a savings bank holding company and the former owner of WaMu Bank, which was the United States' largest savings and loan association until its collapse in 2008.My contributions included:Course Request Evaluation: Responsible for evaluating and analyzing requests for e-Learning products and development. Also, was the lead in determining whether an e-Learning solution was appropriate.Course Development: Developed a wide array of interactive, scenario-based mortgage related courses as well as sales training courses.LMS Deployment: Deployed courses on various SCORM-compliant LMS’s and supported the product through upload, including trouble-shooting and ongoing client support.Vendor Management: Managed varied project schedules and deliverables with vendors, as well as client, vendor, end-user and subject matter expert (SME) relationships.Quality Control and Course Evaluation: Evaluated performance of leader-led and eLearning materials via classroom observation and feedback from users to ensure learning objectives were met and the content was effectively delivered. Used instructional design expertise to design efficient and effective learning and e-learning solutions based on the ISD model, following the ADDIE process with S.M.A.R.T objectives.Testing Development: Developed and implemented pre and post-training assessments to measure participant satisfaction, mastery of learning objectives, on-the-job performance, and organizational/business impact.Tools Used: Developed compliant packages for Cornerstone and Accenture (SumTotal) LMS.
