Led the Market Risk function across the ING Asia/Pacific (IAP) region. Established and maintained documentation of the operating environment, standards, models, methodology and outcomes for each of thirteen business units (BUs) across eleven countries in the IAP in respect of Economic Capital (EC), Market Consistent Embedded Value (MCEV), and Asset-Liability Management (ALM). Coordinated regular EC/ALM reporting of the BUs and consolidate information of the BUs appropriately for regional reporting within deadlines, with quality deliverables. Provided appropriate regional representation at BU ALCO meetings. Ensured that Investment Mandates of BUs are kept up-to-date, and are thoroughly developed and clearly documents requirements and guidelines for IIM (or other outside Asset Managers) to appropriately manage the BU assets in an optimal way.
