I am a fourth year student pursuing a double major in Criminology, Law and Society & Sociology at the University of Toronto. Within my academic life, I have gained much experience in leadership, project management, communication, research, critical thinking and problem solving. I have significant experience in mentoring young leaders from minority upbringings directing them to available academic and professional resources. I am also a huge advocate for the African diaspora and I am always looking for new ways to develop, promote and improve my community. Outside of my academic environment, I am the CEO and Founder of Simply Haircare, a brand I created that promotes inclusivity and beauty through all natural and organic hair products. Through this avenue of entrepreneurship, I have discovered innovative ways I can express my creativity in social media marketing, website design and E-Commerce analytics. I have received many academic and non-academic recognitions, including the UTM Student Leader Award in Equity and Inclusion, The Building Community through Entrepreneurship Award with the Toronto Youth Cabinet and the Black Business & Professional Association Scholarship. I am a passionate, energetic and adventurous person who is very excited to take on new opportunities and broaden my knowledge!
