CurrentAs a Microbiome Scientist involved in upstream innovation, my primary focus is on microbiome management, and developing new technologies that leverage the microbiome to support claims and deliver breakthrough products.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement research plans for upstream innovation projects focused on microbiome management, leveraging microbiome science to develop novel products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key technical challenges related to microbiome science and develop solutions to overcome them.Develop and execute experimental protocols to analyze the microbiome, and interpret data to draw conclusions based on findings.Generate and maintain detailed documentation of research activities, results, and intellectual property.Support claims for new products and technologies through the development and execution of experiments to validate efficacy and safety.Interconnect with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of microbiome innovation strategies with overall business objectives.Key Skills:Strong background in scientific research and development, with expertise in microbiome management and a focus on developing new technologies for consumer products.In-depth knowledge of microbiome science, including the study of the gut, skin, oral, and vaginal microbiome.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data related to microbiome analysis.Strong organizational and documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
