Current• Post doctoral training in the laboratory of Dr.Juliette Godin • Identified the relevance of WD40 repeat genes in brain connectivity through large scale neuroanatomical characterization of knock out mice.• Identified WDR47 as a novel causative gene for early onset neurodegeneration of callosal neurons leading to corpus callosum agenesis in patients.• Supervised 2 Ph.D. students in projects leading to identification of tRNA modification complexes Adat2/3 and Wdr4/Mettl1 as key players during neuronal migration through use of a combination of biochemical, in vivo imaging and • Received research grant from Fondation Jérôme Lejeune to analyze the contribution of Wdr4, to the neurodevelopmental abnormalities of Down Sydrome.• Received short term research grants from International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to get trained on ribosome profiling, a key technique to study translational programs. • Established a collaboration with Dr. Christophe Romier that enabled resolving of crystal structure of Adat2/3 complex and understanding how brain relevant mutations affect the biochemical/physical properties of the complex.
