Submitted over 150 records of invention resulting in numerous botulinum toxin related patents. Coordinated all commercial scientific messaging projects with various internal Allergan divisions and multiple external communication agencies. As National Director BOTOX® Managed Care (2005-06); developed and directed strategic plans to seek expansion of reimbursement coverage for products with the major national managed care accounts. Developed key collaborations with Corporate Healthcare and Reimbursement Teams for private payer medical policy expansion. Facilitated and prioritized several project initiatives regarding medical policy, reimbursement and advocacy, impacting over 80 health insurance companies throughout the country. Non-profit organization founded to provide health information and disease management services through the use of Internet technologies to underserved communities and patients at Boston Medical Center.• The first medical information site on the Internet and eHealth Organization started in the U.S., providing care and disease management information. Created by healthcare experts and physicians, for specific use by the underserved communities in Massachusetts and patients.• Organization grew to 150 members, and 20 physicians, public health and literacy experts.• Developed alliances with 15 participating community and health centers across the Boston area to serve as an access point for the community to access the content on the Internet, when Internet access was at its infancy.• Presented the organization’s objectives at many conferences including at Massachusetts Department of Education’s Conference in 1996, as well as to the media, print and television.• Developed the Award-winning website, which led to recognition by Department of Health and Human Services and Secretary Donna Shalala as one of the top 10 leading efforts in the United States for healthcare management and prevention.• Model for COHIS was replicated by other organizations in the U.S. and around the world, including Japan, South Africa, India, and Germany.
