Customer Account Specialist
Current• Evaluate new purchase orders from customers to verify correct pricing, quantities, revision levels, etc.• Input new purchase orders from customers and create jobs for production line in ERP system• Communicate promised dates along with assisting in expedite requests, order updates, etc. for customers• Manage customer vendor managed program portal to retrieve new order releases, complete advance shipping notices, save forecasts, etc.• Initiate new customer tasks, including entering new customer IDs into ERP system, conducting credit checks, offering payment terms, processing credit card transactions, etc.• Complete deposits for incoming checks and ACH remittance payments• Execute collection efforts for customers who are not current on awarded payment terms
