My life goals revolve around serving the marginalized/people of color communities. As an agent of change, I have accomplished organizing a workshop within the Bayview to address the climate change and health disparities that the Bayview experience. My team has created a culturally competent strategy campaign to prepare residents of the Bayview to prepare for an upcoming extreme weather. I was able to collaborate with multiple disciplines within government to achieve this goal. We worked closely with the Department of Public Health, Department of Adult and Aging Services, and the Office of Resilience, but more importantly I got the opportunity to collaborate with leaders of the Bayview community. Responsible for supporting a diverse, multi-member research and mental health clinical team in current and historic data collection, cleaning, data entry, and administrative tasks. Regularly work with clinicians to review the completeness of assessments, review case information, and process paperwork for a 20 measure battery.
