Onward Israel founded in 2012 is a partnership between lead philanthropists and foundations, Jewish communities and organizations from around the world and in collaboration with the Jewish Agency. Onward Israel offers a 6-10 weeks highly subsidize program for college students and young adults from around the world, an exciting resume building internships opportunities – providing a global, cross-cultural experience in Israel and direct contact with Israeli professionals. Israel Experience®(subsidiary of the Jewish Agency for Israel) is the leading company for educational group travel to Israel and the largest provider for Onward Israel programs – The most chosen by leading Jewish federations and international organizations such as: Boston Federation (CJP), TAMID Group, Hillel International, Chicago Federation (JUF), Toronto Federation, Hillel’s of Georgia and Cleveland Federation. In my position as Project manger, I was in-charge of planning, executing and managing all aspects of the project for 17 groups and 700 college students, recruiting and managing a program staff of 30-40.I was responsible for Business Development & Client relation’s aspects of the project by building meaningful relationships with new and existing partners and organizations, writing tenders and managing million dollars budget. I oversee the daily complex program operations, including coordinating between different departments in support of the project (internships, registration, finance, logistics and HR)In my time we were able to increase by more than double the number of the participants from 300 to 700 by building a strong reputation of quality and expertise in the field and help exciting clients grow and brining new clients to the company.

Campus Israel Fellows is a unique collaboration between the Jewish Agency and Hillel International. The Fellows are young Israeli professionals who travel for one to three years to university campuses around the world, with the goal of empowering students leadership and creating Israel-engaged campuses. In my 3 year position, I worked in nine universities and colleges throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area and was part of three team staff: University of Chicago Hillel, Metro Chicago Hillel and the Israel Education Center at the Jewish federation and served as a liaison between the ground and the headquarter. I facilitated Israel educational programming, fostered relationships with university departments, faculty, international and communal organizations. I planned, coordinated and supervised over 150 academic and cultural events, built and managed yearly budget, wrote grant proposals, created partnerships for co-sponsorships, created large-scale social media campaigns and worked with the Israeli consulate of the Midwest. My biggest accomplishments from my fellowship were: expending the work of the project from one campus to nine campuses across the city, grew the numbers of involved students and faculties, increased collaborations between organizations and increasing the numbers of Campus Israel Fellows in Chicago from one Fellow to three in the end of my term.
