Petroleum Engineer graduated at the Universidad de Oriente with Cumlaude Honorable mention. Has 13 years of experience in the oil industry which four of them have been as Reservoir Engineer. Begun his career working with heavy oils at Orinoco Oil Belt along the time has worked with light, medium and extra-heavy oils. Participated in the planning and executing of Thermal Recovery Projects as SAGD, SW-SAGD, Steam Cyclic Injection, Steam Continuous Injection in the Orinoco Oil Belt (First Pilot Project of SAGD and SW-SAGD in the Belt). Additionally has been responsible for following and control of Secondary Recovery Projects assisted by water injection. Has operational experience in cementing activities, gravel pack, shooting sands, well completions procedures and addition knowledge in the well conventional logs analysis (GR, SP, Resistivity, saturation, CBL-VDL, PLT, BHP-T). During his career has acquired knowledge in handle simulators as Eclipse 100, STARS, Wellflo, Pipesim, Prosper and OFM. Most of his experience has been focused to identify production opportunities in wells with low productivity trough the diagnostic and planning of workovers, zone change, well stimulation, etc. Has worked as Post-Production Coordinator in a Venezuelan Service Company, specialist in the supply and development of a wide range of well completion equipment, has developed the position of Petroleum Engineer in Darquain Field (Iran) where mainly was responsible of monitoring production parameters during the field production life to create an understanding behavior between well and reservoir. The previous job was as production technologies engineer at ONGC Videsh giving support to reservoir and technology departments to reach and maintain the production plateau of Carabobo Field at the Orinoco Oil Belt. Currently is working as reservoir engineering consultant for PEMEX.
