I shared the best of Lake Erie living with the boating community through sales of boat docks, winter storage, and service, along with tourism marketing with the newest property, Bayfront Resort at Cross View. I aligned our marketing to meet needs based on the current strategic plan while creating engaging social media posts, educational and promotional videos, creative photos, results driven print and internet campaigns. In 2023, Bayfront Resort at Cross View was added, a glamping style RV Resort with waterfront cottages. With this addition, I managed a total of ten social media pages, two websites, and three separate marketing campaigns. I increased my knowledge in the RV and tourism industry, influencer marketing, as well as created new partnerships with many Sandusky area businesses. Last, but not least, I planned and executed events at our properties throughout the boating and RV season, creating a community feel and social connections with members.

Due to Covid, my position was eliminated. While there, I was in charge of our Family Entertainment Center at Cedar Point Sports Center. With running the day to day operations of the climbing walls, ninja course, arcade, birthday parties, and corporate events. I had a staff of 30+ part-time associates. I did all hiring, scheduling, training, and development of the staff, making sure certified positions were filled (such as on the climbing walls) and we had a balance of staff. In addition, I was responsible for inventory management and ordering for the arcade as well as reporting revenue and labor weekly to our GM.

I worked as an assistant manager and buyer for the three gift shops within Firelands Regional Medical Center. I assisted in finding unique merchandise for the boutique-style shops keeping in mind the demographics and feedback from our loyal shoppers. I also managed the marketing campaign for all three gift shops as well as the Firelands Auxiliary, creating email, print, and social media marketing pieces to increase awareness of sales, volunteer opportunities, brand awareness, and more. Lastly, I processed shipments helping with inventory control for all three stores.

I assisted area businesses in their marketing needs with BAS Broadcasting stations. I truly enjoy helping businesses reach their marketing goals as well as get the most for their advertising dollars. We worked with the area communities with our 10 stations covering 17 counties. I not only created proposals and submitted orders, I wrote compelling commercials to draw a listener to a call to action. I truly enjoyed using my business knowledge along with my creative side every day!

I worked with WKFM and WLKR radio in Ohio assisting and strategizing with business owners in the area about how to build their business with the right marketing plan. Along with the business side of my career, I truly enjoyed the creative side that I got to experience every day with writing radio ads, creating marketing campaigns, and collaborating on special events.

I was at several locations and worked different levels within Lifetouch Portrait Studios from Studio associate, Studio manager, District trainer to Special Event coordinator. While with Lifetouch, I was transferred around the district to help failing studios. I received three nation-wide “Studio of the Month” awards, with all three coming from struggling studios I was able to turn around through proper staffing and training. I worked to help tell a story with each family that came in to be photographed and trained my team to do the same.
