Manually testing new features. Automating every new feature with Robot Framework that is based on Python. Security testing (see: end-point testing, Burp suite scanner, owasp zap). Performance testing with the use of blazemeter. Cross-platform testing with the use of BrowserStack & Sauce Labs. Part of my job is to train and support new testers. Our code is saved in a git version control and our environment is dockerised. We handle our workload using Jira. Responsible for the functionality of Web Portals in Java. Mainly with the use of the Framework Liferay and Orbeon. I am using Linux OS & Mac OS. We are committing our changes to Git and we see our tasks in Jira. At Worth we develop our products using the Agile/Scrum method.

The aim of this years iGEM project wasto synthesize an olfactory device for the purpose of characterization of volatile compounds.The approach we adopted was to introduce olfactory receptor gene fusions into Saccharomycescerevisiae and linking these receptors to a transcription response.
