AHMSI3 was a servicing company at which my focus was collections training as well as systems training. AHMSI3 utilized Mortgage Servicing Package (MSP) through Lender Processing Services and due to my experience with the product I was recruited by a former team mate to AHMSI3 for a position that had been created in Jacksonville at that time. AHSMI3 is now Homeward Residential.

My primary responsibility was to train new hires (or transfer associates) in Servicing about the company, mortgages (historically as well currently)to laid the foundation of mortgage collections.

As a Training Specialist at WaMu my tenure can be segmented into two distinct areas; Mortgage Origination and Servicing.Mortgage Origination: I was charged with training Mortgage Processing and Underwriting as well working with all roles with the exception of Sales on the Simple Loan Manager System (SLiM).Servicing: As market condition changed I was utilized as a Training Specialist with Servicing while still working with Origination clients. I eventually cycled to Servicing as my primary focus. I provided training to new hires in the area mortgage servicing specifically collections. This included both hard and soft skills training. An additional part of the curriculum on day one was general HR and orientation to WaMu and then as we transitioned to Chase I continued in the role.

When I was first with the bank I was responsible for the training of hard and soft skills for Processors, Underwriter, Closers and Post-Closers on the Origination side of the Bank. With changing market condition my responsibilities shifted to Serving where I was charged with the onboarding of new hires in collection. I was responsible for training the culture of the organization as well as the hard and soft skills of collecting a delinquent mortgage. Topics included system training as well as Fair Debt Collection Practice Act.

I guided people through their options in regard to credit card and unsecured debt and enabled them to take control of their credit card situation and pay off their debt in 12-36 months.

I am the host of a daily call in show. It is the only local morning drive talk show in Jacksonville (Florida), Arbitron Market 48. In addition to hosting duties I sell brokered programming for the station as well as a production company associated with the station.

I was responsible for the on-boarding and training of Junior Underwriters at a major bank in a five-week course.

Monitor inventory for twenty-nine branches to ensure Unisource meet all requirements for purchasing incentives as well as to maximize turns. Additionally, produced and maintained four-editions of the price book based on franchise agreements with our vendors in the ten states which was our region. One of my biggest accomplishments in the position creating a methodology of looking globally at the inventory because at that time the technology of the time inventory was viewed branch by branch. Due to this we were able to achieve an inventory reduction of 15% which allowed us to increase turns and freed up $3-million dollars.
