Senior DevOps. I am responsible for the web application, which surfaces all the analytic information extracted from our client's content management systems. This web application uses Python in the backend and Vue to present the data to the end-user on the frontend. This application is deployed to AWS automatically, leveraging Gitlab CI/CD and Kubernetes.Data Engineer. I led the effort of transforming an ad-hoc data ingestion process into a more reliable, cost-efficient, and reproducible data ingestion, normalization, and feature extraction workflow using well-known libraries such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or Delta Lake. Nowadays, I am responsible for maintaining this data pipeline running on AWS and updating it according to our client's needs.

Senior developer, maintainer, and member of the architect team for the Invenio project (inveniosoftware.org). I took part in the decisions that shaped the overall Invenio technical architecture and in the development of numerous core components of the Invenio framework. I played a vital role in the refreshment of many in-house solutions in favor of mainstream libraries/frameworks like Flask, Jinja2, Celery, AngularJS, or Webpack, including the movement from Python v2 to v3. As a senior developer, I actively participated in the selection, mentorship, and supervision of newcomers.Lead engineer and deputy service manager for the CERN Document Server project (cds.cern.ch). I was one of the members of a small team responsible for maintaining and providing support for the service. My role covered from requirement gathering meetings, taking care of support requests, or bug fixes, to operations tasks such as creating/enhancing Puppet profiles, ensuring services like Apache or Mysql were running smoothly, or creating a reliable deployment workflow.Project leader for the development of a new platform for CERN’s multimedia material (videos.cern.ch). I led a small team of developers starting from the requirements gathering phase, the wireframe verification, and the whiteboard application design; to the successful deployment of a web application based on Invenio v3. We also took care of the operations aspect, primarily meaning installation, configuration, fine-tuning, and monitoring, using tools like Puppet or Nagios, of services such as RabbitMQ, Redis, ElastiSearch, or Nginx.

Developer for the M9 project (m9digital.it). I was the leading developer on this project, which led to the creation of a prototype of the M9 museum digital repository using the Invenio framework as the backbone.Junior Python developer for the CERN Document Server (cds.cern.ch).
