Democracy Data Officer
I conduct data analysis and visualization in support of international civic/electoral programs and innovative democracy research. Water Resources And Wash Intern

I created An Atlas of Urban Latin America, a digital atlas that provides a novel view of the region via 483 of its major cities. I collected over 140 open-source datasets from government, academic, and collaborative sources then thoroughly processed and analyzed them in Excel and R. From these, I ultimately assembled 70+ innovative data visualizations, along with supporting text and layouts, in QGIS and Inkscape. This work formed part of my honors thesis, and it was supported by a Major Grant from the Stanford Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education.

Using geospatial and economic data, I identified intervention sites for a six-country, multi-million dollar piped water study. I also participated in stakeholder consultations and created summary graphics to explain the site selection process. Later on, I conducted exploratory research on population distribution and household service provision in Uganda as part of the Extreme Poverty, Infrastructure, and Climate Initiative (EPIC).
