As the MES Service Manager for Lion Electric, I lead a team of 10 engineers and technicians who are responsible for implementing and maintaining the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the electric vehicle production line. The MES is a software system that monitors and controls the manufacturing processes and provides real-time data and feedback. Some of my responsibilities and achievements include:• Collaborating with the R&D, quality, and operations departments to optimize the MES functionality and performance, and aligning it with the business objectives and customer requirements.• Ensuring the compliance of the MES with the industry standards and regulations.• Managing the budget, timeline, and scope of the MES projects and deliverables, and ensuring the quality and reliability of the system.• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or incidents related to the MES, and providing technical support and training to the end-users.

As the IT Site Leader for GE Aviation, I managed the information technology for a large (>500 employees) and complex manufacturing plant that produces multiple part families for different businesses, including military. I was responsible for the performance and availability of the IT infrastructure and software applications for the shop operations, as well as partnering with the business to enable process transformation. Some of my achievements include:• Setting the IT strategy and roadmap for the site, and influencing senior leadership to execute it.• Leading the evaluation and implementation of ERP, MES, and other software solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.• Mentoring and developing the IT team and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

As an IT Manager for IBM, I held various leadership roles in managing the IT infrastructure, application development and maintenance, and service desk for the IBM plant in Bromont. The plant is a high-tech manufacturing facility that produces microelectronic components for various industries. Some of my responsibilities and achievements include:• IT Infrastructure Manager (2012-2014): Leading a team of 15 professionals who provided installation, maintenance, and update of the IT infrastructure for the plant. This included the hardware components such as servers, network routers and switches, cabling, storage, and printers; and the software components such as middleware, operating systems, database manager, mail, applications, and web services.• Application Development and Maintenance Manager (2008-2012): Aligning IT and critical business processes of the plant towards a common goal: to support the strategy of the organization. Leading a team of 25 specialists who performed the development and evolution of more than 115 applications, using various technologies such as Java, C#, SQL, .NET, and SAP.• Service Desk Manager (2006-2008): Leading a team of 15 technicians who managed the hardware and software installations and updates for over 2,500 workstations.
