Passionate about how things work, producing the best fitting solution to a particular problem and creating useful applications.I have a bachelor's degree from the HAN University of Applied Science in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Before this, I studied for a year in Naples, Italy at the Apple Developer Academy. Also studied for four months in Jerusalem, Israel for my minor, where I took courses like Hebrew and Entrepreneurship. In my own time I do some work as a freelancer.I like full-stack projects with a focus on mobile frontend. In the past few years, I have worked with cross-platform frameworks like React Native. I like to dive into more complex problems that require native iOS/Android code to be written. I have released both Android and iOS applications on their respective stores. A current side project consists of a mobile app in React Native, a web console in Next.js to manage the app and a backend in Go(lang). I use TensorFlow to implement machine learning in the mobile app.I like to experiment and pick up new technologies. It's always interesting to take a look at unknown parts of existing code bases to fix issues.In most applications I have worked on I also have worked on the backend side of things including designing and managing the database. I developed and deployed backends in various languages on various cloud providers like AWS, Digital Ocean, and Oracle Cloud. I have implemented things like authentication (sign in with…, OAuth, email/password), web sockets for live updates and push notifications on both front-end and backend.
