I am a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Building Surveyor with 35 years’ experience as a civil/structural engineer and over 22 years as Managing Consultant at ECMC. I hold a BSc. in Civil Engineering, a MSc. in Construction Engineering and Management and a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration. Having worked in the public and private sectors in Saint Lucia, I founded ECMC in 1994. Thereafter, I have worked extensively on a wide range of consultancy projects in Saint Lucia, the OECS Islands, Belize, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.I am a Registered Professional Engineer in Saint Lucia and a professional member of several local and international organisations including the APESL, ICE, ASCE, RICS and CIArb. I am also a real property valuer/appraiser qualified as a Registered RICS Valuer. I am also a Registered Valuer with the Government of Saint Lucia and a recognised valuer with all main commercial banks in Saint Lucia.I have served on several advisory boards. I have been a member of the Board of the Caribbean Accreditation Council for Engineering and Technology from 2009. In May 2016, I was part of the Joint Board of Moderators’ (UK) visit to UWI (St. Augustine Campus). In January 2016, I completed a four year stint as Chairman of WASCO and have also served as chairman of the following boards in Saint Lucia: Engineers Registration Board (1997 to 2003 and; as member from 2011 to 2014); National Housing Corporation, (2005 - 2006); Housing and Urban Development Corporation (1997 - 2002); Association of Professional Engineers of Saint Lucia (1994 - 1995) and Damage Assessment Sub-committee of NEMO (1995 - 2007).
