My name is Ege Çakır, born in 2000, and I am one of the talented and successful young individuals that Turkey has nurtured. After graduating from Büyükçekmece Anadolu High School in Istanbul, I pursued my undergraduate education at the Department of History at Marmara University due to my passion and interest in history, which I successfully completed in 2023. I decided to take my academic career in history even further by enrolling in a master's program in Republican History at the Marmara University Institute of Turkic Studies.Throughout my educational life, I actively participated in various social and cultural events to expand my knowledge and experiences beyond the classroom. I was particularly interested in symposiums, panels, and conferences on history and culture and aimed to play an active role in these organizations.To reach more people with my knowledge and experiences, I turned to podcasting, online magazines, and other literature studies, some of the most effective tools of our age. I established my own podcast, where I covered topics that shed light on Turkey's recent and distant history, and had the opportunity to chat with expert guests in their fields. At the same time, I wrote articles for online magazines, touching upon intriguing topics in history and offering readers different perspectives.With my work in history and culture, I aim to contribute to the development of historical consciousness and the promotion of Turkey's rich historical heritage. To this end, during my master's education, I am following research and studies on Republican History and making efforts to access comprehensive and accurate information about this period.With all my endeavors, I aim to make a name for myself in both my academic career and my projects in the field of history and culture, and to be a role model for young people. In the future, I will continue my efforts to convey Turkey's historical and cultural values to more people and satisfy the curiosity of young people about history.
