I’m a human resource professional with a keen interest in leveraging HRIS systems to help organizations to manage their workforces and to help employees foster knowledge of their benefits. For the past 20 years at Chicago’s only NPR member station, I’ve helped employees at all levels feel welcome to their new jobs by being their guides during the onboarding process and benefits enrollment. I’m also a fierce advocate for diversity and was able to channel that passion through establishing and managing an internship program that launched the careers of dozens of BIPoC journalists. When I am not telling my adorable pug puppy to stop chewing up the carpet, I like to keep an eye on UX and tech trends. I also enjoy listening to my favorite spooky podcasts Tanis and The White Vault and laughing at memes on Reddit with my husband. After a reduction in force, I’m looking for my next opportunity.
