As with most things in life; my career started out with an egg. Being a farmer’s daughter aged twelve, I used my surroundings to my advantage and invested my pocket money into twelve free-range chickens. Through marketing and plucky sales this enterprise grew 13 fold in just two years to 150 free range hens and is still established today with a flock ranging from 200-300.

'Young Advocate' and on the Board of Trustees for the only national charity for Endometriosis. Aiming to educate and inform via national media platforms such as ITV's This Morning and various radio shows, for Endometriosis and work towards no more suffering in silence. In this role that I attend board meetings on the running of the charity and have partook in internal recruitment processes.

Having gone through the school's system myself, I took a part-time job as a drama teacher at Lutterworth Performing Arts Centre during my gap year, between A-Levels and my undergraduate degree. This demanding job developed a depth of transferable skills; within the same week I may be preparing students for their graded LAMDA exams, directing a play of adults or creatively engaging class of home educated students. I also managed the school one day a week.

Sales assistant in the professional golf shop. Following the sales psychology I was learning during my business studies GCSE I was given free rein to dress the shop window and arrange the shop lay out with rewarding sales results. Every quarter and for every sales promotion, I was responsible for the reorganization of the shop layout and its stock. Furthermore, I would run the 'half way house' on Saturday mornings, selling refreshments and up-selling the Professional's service. I also did some buying for this company, focusing on ladies golf clothes, which I would then arrange special sales events for.
