I'm advancing my knowledge and skills in the cyber security field to better serve our nation's warfighters through the projects I manage. While my passion is to better serve the soldiers / sailors / airmen / marines who protect our country, it's no small leap to extend that passion toward protecting our country's assets on a broader scale. The CWCT program is offered to military / veterans / first responders via a grant from the NSA and the collaboration between Purdue University Northwest, Ivy Tech Community College, University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC), and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC).

Supported MAK's PM for the Common Synthetic Environment (CSE) project for the Army's future training capability, the Synthetic Training Environment - Information System (STE-IS). Managed 23 subcontractors totaling over $32 million through the subcontracts process from authorization to proceed, to RFP, to formal definitization, multiple modifications, and eventual contract closure. Advised PM with cost-estimating support for subcontracts negotiations. Institutionalized a Program Risk Process for CSE as a model example for other company projects. Adapted process for CSE from DoD guidance for risk, issue, and opportunity management. Customized risk criteria based on program and PM-specific requirements for risk management. Participated in a joint government-industry working group for metrics visualization and reporting using Power BI. Individually commended by government Product Manager for CSE for contributions to this WG which resulted in a baseline for implementing metrics reporting across multiple government projects.

Project Manager in support of proposal development to the Training and Readiness Accelerator (TReX) request for solution for Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Common Synthetic Environment (CSE) project. Developed MS Project integrated master schedules (IMS), supported team refinement of DevOps concept, and created milestones and deliverables in support of STE-CSE. Assisted development of sub-contractor request for solution (RFS) to STE-CSE vendors. Developed workflow process for Problem Trouble Report (PTR) disposition for Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) Post-Deployment Software Support (PDSS) for use in JIRA. Assisted PM with multiple project actuals performance from NetSuite data and development of Software Test Descriptions (STDs) for USMC Deployable Virtual Training Environment (DVTE).

Program manager for software development of game-based simulation in support of combat medic training for tactical combat casualty care (TC3Sim). Submitted by the Army Research Laboratory, TC3Sim was a finalist in the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C) of the 2017 I/ITSEC. Improved capabilities of TC3 plugin to Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3). Developed proof of concept efforts to demonstrate virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) for TC3 training. Managed various research efforts in support of medic/corpsman training development. Directed expansion of emergency management web-based training application for state and local transit agencies.

Responsible for managing the graphics development in support of interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM) and computer-based training & simulation for the Joint Battlefield Command-Platform (JBC-P, formerly FBCB2-JCR) and the Movement Tracking System (MTS). Managed 13-artist team to meet all IETM, CBT and related deadlines with high quality and efficiency. Garnered accolades from Army PM office for JBC-P introductory video, continuously displayed at the PM office. Managed the overall production process for artists, technical writers, instructional designers, and programmers via commercial asset and workflow management tools.

Developed asset management and workflow processes, and managed day-to-day operations of production for the Comanche helicopter Interactive Multimedia Instruction. Directed financial management team for $700 million production, R&D, and product improvement projects for the Air-to-Air Missile Joint Program Office. Managed project budget & estimating, evaluated earned value performance and value engineering savings. Supported source selection teams and served as senior adviser for contractor cost/schedule (earned value management - EVM) analyses.

Maxwell Afb, Alabama

Taught leadership and teamwork, professionalism, force employment, and communication skills. Taught over 135 hours of seminar instruction each class, five times each year. Chaired several leadership committees to ensure standardization and quality of faculty instruction. Platform speaker to 650 students each class.

Wright-Patterson Afb, Ohio

Directed a 12-person team to manage a $17 million, competitive three-contractor research and development program for electronic countermeasures for the Electronic Combat Program Office. Advisor to British Royal Air Force for related flight testing in the UK. Evaluated proposals for simulator upgrades. Received commendation for managing laboratory feasibility study for countermeasures to infrared search & track systems.
