Next to the steering of the whole T&T project I was responsible for one of the streams: Implementing secure Internet/Webdispatcher applications including new infrastructure. The project consists of 4 different streams, SAP, non-SAP, Network and Services.

Goal of this program is to migrate all Philips services (SAP and non-SAP applications) falling under the SAAS and IAAS contract to the successor supplier. Responsible for steering this big project/program. The program consists of 6 different streams, SAP, Non-SAP and application related services like Output Management, Job scheduling and Archiving. All these streams headed by another PM. Gained much knowledge in the area of risk, issue and escalation management. Also broadened my reporting and communication skills. For me this is (and was) a very instructive and challenging project/program.

As project manager assigned to the Philips Global Account. I was responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing the following projects successfully:1. Mercator consolidation project (license cost savings)2. Upgrading the non-SAP application Accolade to the next version3. DNS server roll out, implementing standardized DNS lookup accross complete Philips landscape4. Storage migrations within several Philips datacenters (Aachen, Best, Strijp)5. Upgrading several SAP systems to the next Java version6. Switching several SAP systems from IBM based Java to the required SAP Java virtual machines7. Implementing new services (SAAS and IAAS) as part of the Philips Integrated Landscape (Teradata, Powercenter, IF Core and Enterprise Service Buzz).8. Migrating Philips OneBI SAP BW kernel to SAP Hana (Successor Supplier)9. Migrating Unycom (Vault non-SAP application) to a Successor Supplier.

As a migration tech lead member of the SAAS program. This program is about to migrate and on-board all the different Philips applications. Responsible for migrating some of the Philips SAP and non-SAP applications (datacenter Frankfurt). Customizing the migration approach (standardize as much as possible), supporting the design process (customer requirements versus target platform), building the migration runbooks, coordinate knowledge transfer sessions and migrate/on-board applications are some of the key responsibilities.

As change manager within the CG Basis/Technical platforms, I am partly responsible for the correct implementation of all requested changes. Changes are related to all infrastructural and non-infrastructural components (SAP and non-SAP applications, hardware moves, firmware and OS upgrades, improve security, failover test etc.) within the several landscapes. Lighting as well as CL/CF/CT do have a dynamic system environment and therefore it is vital to carefully examine, approve, and plan for each change. In addition, planning each maintenance weekend in cooperation with our service provider is also one of my tasks.
