Role and Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing media relations strategies to promote a positive image of GNAPS- Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and other media professionals to facilitate and enhance GNAPS' publicity and advocacy drive- Monitoring media coverage and tracking relevant news stories in the education sector (Private Schools)- Guiding leadership and management on branding, media relations, and communications- Creating and distributing newsletters and other communications materials to inform internal and external stakeholders about the organization's activities and achievements- Managing communication channels, including social media accounts and email newsletters, to increase website traffic and social media engagement- Providing administrative support, including scheduling meetings and coordinating events for the organization's staff and partners- Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and feedback surveys.

Responsible for;- Establishing the vision and strategic direction of the organization, as well as ensuring that all the necessary administrative tasks are running smoothly- Managing the day-to-day operations, organizing fundraising efforts, securing funding, and conducting research among others.- Delegating responsibilities to the team members towards the organisational goals while still supervising and monitoring their work and performance.- Aligning the organization’s goals and activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.- Collaborating and coordinating with other stakeholders towards the organisational goal.

Key Accomplishments: - Conducted research on various topics related to education in Africa, such as funding, growth, challenges, education taxation and opportunities- Created and distributed newsletters and other communications materials to inform internal and external stakeholders about the organization's activities and achievements- Provided administrative support, including scheduling meetings and coordinating events for the organization's staff and partners- Tracked and reported on key performance indicators, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and feedback surveys
