About Egils Dancis

Here is my story.The most important education.It was sunny afternoon, when I was exploring streets of Mumbai and run into a book seller. Just to please him, in exchange of couple of rupees, I picked up “7 Habits of Highly Effective People ” by Steven Covey. WOW! This book was like a “tool box” for personal development. Returning to Latvia I joined FranklinCovey, helped them grow and become their trainer. Let’s make people fly! Selling the product that doesn’t exist yet.I was excited to find out that a group of extraordinary thinkers and doers have created technology to make people fly. Yeah, just like that, no strings attached and floating in wind stream of 200km/h. It was like being on a road of rock’n'roll for almost 10 years to join the core team of this company and help them grow from a small start-up to a world class player delivering technology for entertainment giants like Disney and Warner Brothers.Sometimes we need to pause and dig deep.How long would you think if you were offered to got to China and study Chinese? Actually it wasn’t that easy decision for me. But I took the offer. A year later when Covid-19 pressed a big “PAUSE” button for everyone in the world, it was so clear that this was one of the best decisions. It took me 3 years of full-time dedication to “crack the code” of Chinese. Today I am a true ambassador of China. What’s your story? Maybe we can make a new exciting chapter together?
