Prospector and mine geologist in Italy up to 2003, moved to the Oil & Gas industry and worked 3 years as a mudlogger, mostly in the North Sea (Denmark and UK). In 2006 joined Halliburton Baroid as Drilling Fluids Engineer, assigned to office and field work in Saudi Arabia. Since 2008 a consultant Wellsite Geologist, with extensive experience in the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, the Barents Sea. On occasions, worked in the Operator’s office, finalising logs and well reports, researching archives and data for well planning.A firm believer in continuous self-improving, been awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Engineering by Heriot-Watt University in 2021.Experienced in: ERD & horizontal wells, geosteering, biosteering, wireline logging witnessing, HPHT, offshore (shallow and deep water), conventional and sidewall coring, pore pressure prediction, well control, drilling fluids, geomechanics, training, mineral exploration, mineralogical analysis, ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications, people and project management.
